Tata Motors will introduce the Altroz Racer to the Indian market on June 7, 2024.
Pre-orders for the Altroz Racer have started with a booking amount of ₹21,000.
The standard Tata Altroz is priced between ₹6.64 lakh and ₹10.79 lakh; the Altroz Racer is expected to be priced between ₹9.5 lakh and ₹12 lakh.
The Altroz Racer will be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, generating 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque.
Transmission options for the Altroz Racer will include a 6-speed manual and a dual-clutch automatic (DCT).
The Altroz Racer will feature visual upgrades like a dual-tone paint scheme, blacked-out bonnet and roof, twin white stripes, and a ‘Racer’ badge.
Inside, the Altroz Racer will have a black theme with orange accents, black leatherette upholstery, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and an electric sunroof.
The Altroz Racer will also face competition from the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor.
