TVS Motor Company plans to launch the world's first ground-up CNG scooter, the Jupiter CNG, by early 2025.

The company aims to sell approximately 1,000 units of the gas-based Jupiter scooter each month, offering a cleaner alternative to conventional fuel scooters.

The Jupiter CNG will feature a 125cc engine and CNG option, aligning with TVS's commitment to developing alternative fuel technologies.

Priced similarly to the Bajaj Freedom 125, the Jupiter CNG is expected to compete in the same range, providing an eco-friendly option for consumers.

As the second-largest scooter manufacturer in India, TVS Motor Company holds an 18% market share, selling 1 million motorcycles and half a million scooters annually.
