Grand Vitara Sets Record with 2 Lakh Sales in 2 Years

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has sold two lakh units in India within 23 months of its launch.

The SUV achieved the fastest sales milestone in the compact segment, with the last one lakh units sold in the past 10 months.

The Grand Vitara was co-developed by Maruti Suzuki and Toyota Motor and competes with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the compact SUV segment.

It is the second most popular model in its segment, after Hyundai Creta.

The Grand Vitara offers multiple powertrain options, including naturally-aspirated petrol, mild-hybrid, strong hybrid, all-wheel drive, and CNG.

The strong hybrid and CNG versions are the most popular among customers.

Maruti's AllGrip technology, an all-wheel drive powertrain, is featured in the Grand Vitara, enhancing its appeal to SUV lovers.

The SUV's price ranges from ₹10.99 lakh to ₹20.09 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Grand Vitara is expected to receive a high safety rating, offering features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, a 360-degree camera, and more.
