Royal Enfield's first electric bike has been revealed in a new design patent, showcasing a retro-modern look similar to the brand's other motorcycles.
The electric motorcycle is internally called "electrik01" and will have a different name upon its launch in the Indian market.
The bike features a circular LED headlamp and a circular instrument cluster similar to the new Himalayan 450.
The design includes a teardrop fuel tank housing the battery, a single seat for a bobber-like appearance, and a rear mudguard similar to the Classic 350.
The bike will have disc brakes at both ends with a dual-channel ABS, and unique girder forks in the front, a feature last seen in the 1920s. The swingarm might be made of aluminum.
